On December 26, 2024 ACE Inventor established a site at the headquarters of the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology (KICT), providing a shared space for demonstration and validation of building-integrated photovoltaic modules.

Working from that base, the company was selected in March 2025 for the KICT smart construction technology validation programme and has since continued field validation of its lightweight and heating modules.

Field validation is the process of closing the gap between laboratory data and on-site performance. Generation, thermal behaviour, fixing behaviour and waterproofing must be measured over extended periods on an actual building before application standards can be proposed.

Working with KICT, the company has participated as a tenant company of the Smart Construction Support Center, and following selection for the validation research programme in March 2025 it continues field verification of its lightweight and heating modules.
