Site Established at KICT Headquarters for Field Validation
ACE Inventor established a site at the headquarters of the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology on 26 December 2024, a shared space for demonstration and validation of building-integrated modules.
Validation is the work of measuring the distance between laboratory figures and field performance. Only by fixing modules to an actual building and tracking output, thermal behaviour, movement at the fixings and waterproofing at penetrations across seasons can application standards be proposed.
Construction is also a sector in which nothing is adopted without such data. Designers and contractors do not specify materials that carry no reliability record.
From that base the company was selected for KICT's validation research programme in March 2025, and field verification of its lightweight and heating modules continues.
ACE Inventor Inc., founded in November 2022, develops ultra-lightweight building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. Its core technologies are a water-based hydrogel electrolyte membrane, electrophoretic large-area flexible electrode coating, and ultra-lightweight curved module design using FRP and ETFE composites.
