Selected for the TIPS Overseas Marketing Programme
ACE Inventor was selected for the TIPS overseas marketing programme in November 2024, worth 80 million won over a period running to October 2025.
Preparing for export before domestic certification had a logic to it. Demand for lightweight BIPV arises under much the same conditions everywhere: roofs of ageing industrial buildings, commercial premises with no structural headroom, cold regions with heavy snowfall.
Using the programme, the company attended solar and construction exhibitions in Japan, the United States and Europe, meeting architectural practices and energy companies in each market, and ran buyer research in Japan and the United States through KOTRA.
Certification remains the gate. TUV assessment began in June 2026, with CE and NRTL approval scheduled to follow.
ACE Inventor Inc., founded in November 2022, develops ultra-lightweight building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. Its core technologies are a water-based hydrogel electrolyte membrane, electrophoretic large-area flexible electrode coating, and ultra-lightweight curved module design using FRP and ETFE composites.
