ACE Inventor was selected for the Gyeonggi climate tech startup programme in March 2025. Operated by the provincial centre for creative economy and innovation, it was worth 45 million won over a period running to December 2025.

Gyeonggi is also where the company manufactures. Centred on the Hwaseong plant, the ageing roofs of nearby industrial estates and logistics facilities are its primary target market.

Factories and warehouses roofed in sandwich panel have little structural margin, and reinforcing them inflates the initial investment sharply. It is precisely the gap a module weighing 3 to 8 kilograms per square metre is meant to fill.

The company was selected again in May for the province's Green 6+ collaboration programme, taking part in regional schemes in succession.

ACE Inventor Inc., founded in November 2022, develops ultra-lightweight building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. Its core technologies are a water-based hydrogel electrolyte membrane, electrophoretic large-area flexible electrode coating, and ultra-lightweight curved module design using FRP and ETFE composites. The company operates a 50 MW annual production line in Paltan-myeon, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, and holds KS C 8577 BIPV module certification together with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
