Chairman's Award at the INNOPOLIS Deep Tech Startup Competition
ACE Inventor received the Chairman's Award at the deep tech startup competition hosted by the INNOPOLIS Foundation on 6 December 2023, an event that weighs technical merit and commercialization planning together.
The company's presentation rested on vertical capability: making its own core materials — electrolyte membranes, flexible electrodes — and carrying them through to a large-area module process. It is the part of the business a follower buying materials on the open market cannot replicate quickly.
With DeepTech-TIPS selection announced the same month, the technology had been endorsed by private investors and a government programme within weeks of each other.
2023 was a crowded year: a first institutional round in June, a research institute and regional scale-up selection in September, venture certification in October, DeepTech-TIPS in November and the Chairman's Award in December.
ACE Inventor Inc., founded in November 2022, develops ultra-lightweight building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. Its core technologies are a water-based hydrogel electrolyte membrane, electrophoretic large-area flexible electrode coating, and ultra-lightweight curved module design using FRP and ETFE composites. The company operates a 50 MW annual production line in Paltan-myeon, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, and holds KS C 8577 BIPV module certification together with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. Its patent portfolio includes seven registered Korean patents and one registered US patent, with 23 applications filed in Korea and abroad. Contact info@aceivt.com · www.aceivt.com
