ALC-GG-176S BIPV Module Receives KS C 8577 Certification
ACE Inventor obtained KS C 8577 certification for building-integrated photovoltaic modules in 2026. The certified model is the ALC-GG-180S, a glass-to-glass module.
KS C 8577 is the Korean national standard for such modules, issued only after the quality tests it prescribes — covering output, insulation, environmental endurance and appearance — have been passed. It is also the minimum condition for entering the public procurement market.
Certification took roughly two years from the securing of the site in April 2024, a period that ran through facility installation approval, factory registration, line start-up and the assembly of quality documentation. In June 2026 the company recovered 20.04 million won of certification fees through a support grant.
The company is now pursuing three KS C 8561 certifications covering general lightweight modules, targeted for 2026.
ACE Inventor Inc., founded in November 2022, develops ultra-lightweight building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. Its core technologies are a water-based hydrogel electrolyte membrane, electrophoretic large-area flexible electrode coating, and ultra-lightweight curved module design using FRP and ETFE composites. The company operates a 50 MW annual production line in Paltan-myeon, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, and holds KS C 8577 BIPV module certification together with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. Its patent portfolio includes seven registered Korean patents and one registered US patent, with 23 applications filed in Korea and abroad. Contact info@aceivt.com · www.aceivt.com
