ACE Inventor was selected for the 2025 DIPS 1000+ programme, run by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup and Entrepreneurship Development with the participation of KEPCO. It is worth 600 million won over two years to March 2027.

It was the company's second large government project after DeepTech-TIPS, worth 1.5 billion won, in 2023. The funding was concentrated on certification and productisation.

The position was straightforward. Equipment was installed at Hwaseong; certification was not in place. Without it, neither public procurement nor private projects of any scale were open to the company.

The work paid out a year later with KS C 8577 certification in 2026. The company is now pursuing three KS C 8561 certifications, which cover general lightweight modules, targeted for completion within 2026.

ACE Inventor Inc., founded in November 2022, develops ultra-lightweight building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. Its core technologies are a water-based hydrogel electrolyte membrane, electrophoretic large-area flexible electrode coating, and ultra-lightweight curved module design using FRP and ETFE composites. The company operates a 50 MW annual production line in Paltan-myeon, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, and holds KS C 8577 BIPV module certification together with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
