ACE Inventor was registered as a venture business on October 18, 2023. Venture certification is granted after an assessment of technology and business viability, and provides access to R&D workforce, tax and financial support schemes.

On that basis the company expanded its research organization and moved step by step through government support programmes and linked guarantee and investment arrangements.

Venture certification is an external verification of the originality of a company's technology and its commercial viability. ACE Inventor was certified on the basis of its next-generation solar cell device development and large-area coating process technology.

In the same year the company established a corporate research institute and moved into the Sookmyung Industry Collaboration Center, completing its research organization. The transition from university laboratory to corporate R&D structure was concentrated in the second half of 2023.
