DIPS Technical Validation Completed on Mounting Structures
ACE Inventor completed technical validation under the DIPS startup programme on 13 September 2026, following roughly three months of work from 16 June, with Red ENG conducting the tests.
The subject was the mounting structure. Separately from how a module generates, what it is fixed to and how matters more on site: reduce the weight and the fixing method and wind-load criteria both change.
The results are being compiled into an installation guide for low-load roofs, a document used in customer proposals and certification files alike. The company had already accumulated field data through validation research with the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology in 2025.
Red ENG, which ran the validation, is also the delegated agency for KEPCO's global demonstration support programme, so what was confirmed domestically carries directly into demonstration work abroad.
ACE Inventor Inc., founded in November 2022, develops ultra-lightweight building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. Its core technologies are a water-based hydrogel electrolyte membrane, electrophoretic large-area flexible electrode coating, and ultra-lightweight curved module design using FRP and ETFE composites. The company operates a 50 MW annual production line in Paltan-myeon, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, and holds KS C 8577 BIPV module certification together with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. Its patent portfolio includes seven registered Korean patents and one registered US patent, with 23 applications filed in Korea and abroad. Contact info@aceivt.com · www.aceivt.com
