ACE Inventor signed a pilot production contract with Solastic on 20 June 2025 for roof-integrated (BAPV) modules, manufacturing Solastic's product on its own line at Hwaseong.

It was the first contract to give practical form to the solar module foundry model the company has been describing: a customer brings a specification, and design, production and certification are handled in one place — an arrangement that suits firms without a line of their own producing small volumes across many variants. Volume production becomes possible once certification is complete.

ACE Inventor Inc., founded in November 2022, develops ultra-lightweight building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. Its core technologies are a water-based hydrogel electrolyte membrane, electrophoretic large-area flexible electrode coating, and ultra-lightweight curved module design using FRP and ETFE composites.
