Four-Party MOU Signed for Noise Barrier and Public Sector BIPV
ACE Inventor signed a four-party memorandum of understanding with Dongsung Jinheung, Cabin Master and Mirae Construction on 27 April 2026, covering BIPV work aimed at noise barriers and the public sector.
The memorandum sets out joint product development and manufacture, supply, provision of specifications, and coordinated sales to government and public bodies, with the four companies dividing materials and modules, structures, installation and sales between them.
The first project is a semi-transparent module for noise barriers. Road and rail barriers offer large areas and good exposure, but they must admit light and preserve openness, which rules out conventional opaque panels. The company is producing sample modules with glass on both faces in a semi-transparent construction.
Installation on Dongsung Jinheung's factory and office building also forms part of the agreement — a step that tests performance and buildability on an actual structure while generating the track record public tenders require.
ACE Inventor Inc., founded in November 2022, develops ultra-lightweight building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. Its core technologies are a water-based hydrogel electrolyte membrane, electrophoretic large-area flexible electrode coating, and ultra-lightweight curved module design using FRP and ETFE composites. The company operates a 50 MW annual production line in Paltan-myeon, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, and holds KS C 8577 BIPV module certification together with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. Its patent portfolio includes seven registered Korean patents and one registered US patent, with 23 applications filed in Korea and abroad. Contact info@aceivt.com · www.aceivt.com
