KRW 500 Million from Mobidic Ventures Completes the Pre-A Round
Mobidic Startup Plus Investment Partnership II invested 500 million won in ACE Inventor on 15 October 2025 in redeemable convertible preferred stock, completing the company's Pre-A round and bringing its shareholder register to nine.
The round had run for two years and four months since the Weltousi-KVI Amundan Fund I's seed investment in June 2023, reaching 2.1 billion won in total. In that time the company established a corporate research institute, secured a factory in Hwaseong, registered the plant, started its G2G line and obtained three ISO certifications.
ACE Inventor Inc., founded in November 2022, develops ultra-lightweight building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. Its core technologies are a water-based hydrogel electrolyte membrane, electrophoretic large-area flexible electrode coating, and ultra-lightweight curved module design using FRP and ETFE composites. The company operates a 50 MW annual production line in Paltan-myeon, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, and holds KS C 8577 BIPV module certification together with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
