On September 20, 2023 ACE Inventor was named to the Jeonbuk Promising Startup Scale-up 100, a programme that selects regional startups with strong growth potential and supports their commercialization and access to investment.

The company was recognized for its next-generation solar cell technology and its business model for architectural applications. It was selected again in 2024, appearing on the list in two consecutive years.

The business model presented at the time was the conversion of building envelopes into generating assets, targeting surfaces conventional solar could not reach — curtain walls, glass railings and curved façades.

The zero-energy building mandate provided the backdrop. Beginning with public buildings over 1,000 m² in 2020 and widening to private buildings and apartment complexes, the roadmap is steadily enlarging the demand base for BIPV that generates energy within the building itself.
