On March 1, 2024 ACE Inventor established a startup site at the Sookmyung Women's University cross-campus, used for the design and planning of solar modules.

While the Industry Collaboration Center handled materials and process development, the cross-campus site took on product planning and module design, separating the two functions. The addition of the Hwaseong factory in April completed the move into production.

Module design has to satisfy generation performance and architectural requirements at the same time. Cell layout, interconnection, laminate structure, frame and fixing method are decided together; with the same cells, different designs produce different weights and different ranges of application.
